Classic spire in RMNP, the summit is about 12,000 ft. above sea-level. 8 pitches, the hardest has a 5.8+ move softened by fixed gear to pull on. After a leisurely approach and a night in a cave, we had a spectacular day without major thunderstorms. We did the Gash descent but all the other parties rapelled the new bolted descent route...next time we would probably joint them.
