Five nights out to circumnavigate Mount Brewer through the backcountry. We went up Sphinx Creek, climbed North Guard, Brewer, and South Guard, and then descended via Lake Reflection and Bubbs Creek. North Guard was the highlight: it is supposed to be a Norman Clyde Class 3. We climbed up one way and down another, but neither was class 3. We still do not know the right way...
